Corrupted Monk Mask

The Corrupted Monk Mask was a commission from a musician I went to university with, who wanted a mask to gig with it. I worked on it all throughout my BA year of university, using it as an escape from things such as dissertation and group projects.

Foam Zangetsu

I made this foam sword, both to show myself how I had improved since making the God Arc (see below), and because I saw many 3D prints and builds of other versions of this sword from Bleach, but none of my favourite. It was a great way to see how my knowledge and skills improved.

Vasto Lorde Ichigo Head

This is a recreation of a mask/head from my favourite anime, Bleach. I started the project after lockdown, using the scraps of a different project. While the original intent was a wearable mask, it ended up being just a display piece.

Beauty and the Beast Plinth and Rose Case

As part of a group project for Worthing Theatre at university, I helped Polycarve and paint a plinth for the rose to sit on for a version of Beauty and the Beast. We also had the frame for the rose case laser cut, and I assembled it.

Anubis Bust

Anubis was my Final Major Project and an original design that I carried through from initial sketch through to final painted cast. He was great fun to sculpt, mould (twice - more on that on the page), cast and paint.

Pink Devil Masks

While at University, one of my friends was working on a photoshoot with a few other creators, and they wanted two cheap devil masks to shoot with, so with basically no budget, I made two masks for them. We went through a whole sheet of designs, and she selected these, which i made out of some plastic masks, eva foam, and epoxy putty.

Chariot Build

A collaboration between several disciplines for a photoshoot. Myself and two other prop makers worked with a costume designer, makeup, and production graduates, and created a chariot with no budget for materials.

God Arc Project

This is a wooden sword of my own design based off of the weapons in the anime 'God Eater'. The visual style of this anime is unlike most others, and the weapons, though cliche in size, have some very interesting stylistic choices. I designed some other options and some other colour schemes when planning, but the design that finally stuck had a unique styling to it and I even managed to name it in keeping with the paintjob.

Sketchbook Cover

A project to make one of my sketchbooks more unique, where I sculpted a cracked stone texture, an ornamental piece with an emerging eye, and cast them in fibreglass. I settled on a red stone finish with contrasting colour eye and glow-in-the-dark resin in the cracks.

Sci-fi Speeder

Small prototypes are an important element in the design process. This particular model was designed from nothing, and the process of making it both refined my skills, and taught me valuable lessons about this specific design.
